Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and LARK Enterprises LLC ("we") about using Pass the Parrot. By hatching a parrot you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
You must be 13 or older. One account per person. Keep your phone secure: whoever has it can use your parrot.
Be kind: zero tolerance for abuse
Voice messages and moves are made by users. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not send anything that is:
- harassing, bullying, threatening, hateful or discriminatory;
- sexual, or involving minors in any harmful way;
- violent, or encouraging self-harm or illegal acts;
- spam, scams, or pretending to be someone else;
- someone else's private information, or anything you don't have the right to share.
You can block anyone and report any person or message from the chat (the ••• button). We review reports within 24 hours, remove content that breaks these rules, and remove the accounts of people who send it. We may do this without warning.
Your content
Your recordings stay yours. You give us permission to store them and deliver them to the friend you sent them to, only to run the app. Clips are deleted 90 days after sending, or when you delete your account.
Seeds and items
Seeds are an in-app currency you earn by sending messages and inviting friends (and, when available, can buy). Seeds and the items you get with them (perches, colours, props and moves) are a licence to use inside the app. They have no cash value, can't be exchanged or transferred, and aren't refundable except where the law or the App Store's rules require. Items you get are yours for as long as the app and your account exist.
Purchases and subscriptions
Anything you buy is sold through Apple's App Store under Apple's terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your Apple ID settings. Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
Ending things
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We can suspend or end accounts that break these terms. We may change or stop the app; if we stop it we will try to tell you in advance.
The legal part
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that can't be limited. These terms are governed by the laws of New Jersey, USA.
